NonStop 700 is a multi-day ultra-endurance MTB race.
The course covers 700 KM and crosses most of Israel from Mahanaim in the north to Eilat – the southern-most tip.
The race was initiated in 2013 and was held for the second time in 2016, where 7 teams of 4 raced nonstop to Eilat.
The 2017 edition saw 80(!) riders on the start line: 16 teams and 16 individual bikepackers.
While teams may only use the switching points, they definitely don't have to use all of them, so they can choose to switch after riding ~34-60KM.
The race is self-supported: meaning a team member can only get help from other members of his team, but everyone may use any public service available to all.
